Cannons Releasing a DSLR with 100 megapixels. More DSL's were sold last year and point-and-shoot cameras. People are moving from point-and-shoot cameras with a lot more control. They recognize better photos of possible when you have more control. Your image is much better, than any cell phone for iPhone photographs. Enlarging the Image looks more like the woman is using a point-and-shoot camera instead of a cell phone. You isolated his subjects from the background by controlling depth of field. Cell Phones do not even come close. The use of cell phones today, he is really not much different than the box cameras in the days of film.

Thank you, Sandi!

I don't think a cell phone right now can touch the shot you just captured in clarity and detail, in the future, who knows? The Professional sector will continue to improve also. f/v.

Artist's Description

Will Cell Phones Cameras Hurt Photography? Candid scene of a professional #photographer leaving his working place against an old housewife with a #cell #phone or #iPhone in her hands. No more business. The #photo can be used strictly for #editorial or #personal purposes. Everybody owns cellular phones today. The quality of pictures taken by phones is becoming better and better. Some weeks ago Nokia issued a new smartphone with 41 Megapicel camera for abou 300 dollars a piece. The quality of pictures is brilliant. What is in a year opr so any portable mirrorless camera will be equipped with such a sensor? Will it hurt photography as a business or art? I think - no, because to take a good shot it is necessary, first of all, to have a brilliant eye, brain and soul. No art without this ingredients. And what is your opinion?
