Photograph of hoodoo on Windy Point on the Catalina Highway in Mount Lemmon above Tucson, AZ. Taken at dawn.
Wikipedia (1-6-2015): "Mount Lemmon (O'odham: Babad Doʼag), with a summit elevation of 9,159 feet (2,792 m), is the highest point in the Santa Catalina Mountains. It is located in the Coronado National Forest north of Tucson, Arizona, United States. Mount Lemmon was named for botanist Sarah Plummer Lemmon, who trekked to the top of the mountain with her husband and E. O. Stratton, a local rancher by horse and foot in 1881. It is reported that Mount Lemmon Ski Valley, on the mountain's northeastern side, receives 200 inches (508 cm) of snow annually."

My experience with art began as a little boy when my grandfather setup a little painting studio in his own home. There, I saw my mother, aunt, and grandfather give their visions form, shape, and color. But it wasn't until a college photography course set off a lifelong passion for photography and defined my preferred medium. I eventually moved to Austin, Texas to pursue a career in the health sciences and subsequently moved to Salt Lake City, Utah. In Utah, I took advantage of the scenery to really refine my photography and adapt to the digital medium. Now living in Houston, Texas with my wife and son, I pursue art and photography when time allows. While it is something I do alone, I find it a deeply emotional and cathartic process that...
