The sun breaks through above the clouds on a short winter day. This photo was made along the Alcan Highway in December with a Nikon D-70.

John Wolf

John Wolf was born in October of 1944 in a small suburban town in New Jersey, near New York City. In his early teenage years he developed a strong interest in Photography. After high school, he enrolled at the New York Institute of Photography, (NYI), where he studied Commercial Photography and Color Photography. The color photography class consisted, mainly of making dye transfer prints, which was a very intricate process requiring the making of black and white separation negatives for each color print. He soon developed an affinity for darkroom work, processing and printing film. He later moved to Rochester, N.Y. where he enrolled at RIT, majoring in Photo Illustration.
