I picked the right winter to go to Wisconsin. At least it was the right winter for a Texan who doesn't know how to drive in the snow and is deathly afraid of doing so! I wanted to see some snow on a winter trip to Wisconsin. I even told my friend there that I wanted clear weather for my flight in, and then I wanted some snow so that I could get nice pictures of fluffy and clean white snow. Not tons and tons of snow....just enough! Then I wanted clear weather for my flight home. And if she didn't work her weather magic to get me exactly what I asked for! It started snowing a few hours after I arrived and snowed on and off for a couple of days. This was the view early one morning near the bed and breakfast where I was staying with snow/ice/frost covering the trees. Good thing I picked the winter of 2013 and not the winter of 2014!
