I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

From around 2005, this was one of my first contest winners at Better Photo. I shot the image in color, then manipulated to the final result by adding a texture. I still find it to be one of my personal favorites. I remember at the time I had seen something similar to this in a magazine and wanted to re-create the look.
