The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

I painted this because I enjoyed seeing my brothers playing and having fun. I wanted to capture and share a moment in time. I love thinking about childhood and the lovely memories of light-hearted laughter.
About Deanna Yildiz
Hi! I'm Deannna and I've been painting and drawing seriously for over 20 years. When I was a child, I enjoyed drawing animals but faces were a problem for me until I was 16 and then I had an epiphany moment! I learned how to relax and just focus on the shapes in the face and not the specific features. Once I could do that, I was able to draw the realistic faces that I so longed to do. After that I went to FIT—The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City where I got my BFA in Illustration. I learned how to draw in a variety of mediums and also included Computer Graphics into my repertoire of art tools.
