This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!

We were disappointed that the name of the artist is cut off and not showing in full. We feel the name of the artist is an important part of it and would love to have it rectified

We live in the desert so the Palm theme resonates. The color scheme is brilliant and perfect. We would like to see more from this artist. Where do we look?

Artist's Description
Yaquina Head Lighthouse is another of the treasures one can find along the Oregon Pacific Coast. I have painted this beauty several times.
The Yaquina Head Light, also known early in its existence as the Cape Foulweather Lighthouse is on the Pacific Oregon Coast. The light was inaugurated on August 20, 1873. My painting shows the lighthouse in its old color schematic. It is now black trimmed, with a black lantern room.
I am a digital artist who paints in the traditional sense: just with non-traditional tools. Every piece of art in my gallery is original; not scanned; not a photograph. Using only the computer mouse, I draw every line, add every bit of shading, highlights, blending, and refining to finish a piece. All of the art is started on a blank white page i...
About Anne Norskog
Art is in the eye of the beholder. I will not write in the third person here. That sounds pretentious and, most of the time, inaccurate. Being in the last third of my life, it becomes clear good health is the finest gift possible. Again, nature provides the most beautiful inspirations. Walk into your own garden. Stroll a beach or a path in the woods. Watch the sun and clouds or a kitten playing with a piece of string. Pay attention to the faces you see...they each tell their own story. Create something wonderful that has a piece of your own heart on it. The emotions that drive us human beings also drive our art. The viewer is respectfully reminded my works are copyright protected. Please visit me often. Kindest...
