The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

About Christina Plichta
My name is Christina Plichta. I grew up in Milwaukee, WI, and currently live in Minneapolis. As a child I always enjoyed painting. I received formal art training in high school. I loved impressionism. Several times I set up an easel at street festivals and offered pastel portraits for $5. I won several awards for my artwork, but did not study art in college. Instead I started training in ballet and modern dance. I also developed health problems. For years, I painted very little and struggled to dance through poor health. Then I studied holistic nutrition, qigong, and yoga, and improved my health a lot. I was able to do some performing in dance, as well as teaching ballet and yoga. I began painting again.
