This looks gorgeous printed on wood. It is now hanging on my therapy office wall and is perfect. The color is true to the photo. I love it.

Very pleased with the image, color, printing . My selection of printing onto wood is great for this image. There are a few mildly dark lines which are natural to wood. They show through the image and contribute to the image--glad that none of these was over the face of the horse rider.

Artist's Description
An aerial portrait of a young Dutch woman. Her fashion embraces a Gothic approach to Rock Chic while dreamily lying on a bed of ornately tattooed naked men.
Many different interpretations have been read into this painting. These include - fashion identity, the transience of Rock culture, the vitality of youth, our debt to past generations, tattoos as art, female domination, male domination, sensual orgiastic pleasure, the ever increasing occurrence of mass graves and last but not least ...religious enlightenment.
To me interpretations are neither right nor wrong, but often surprising!
About Jo King
Born 1959 Buckinghamshire, England. Son of British painters Jeremy and Brenda King. Theatre BA at Dartington College Of Arts 1981. Figurative painter. Subjects are mostly portraits and nudes in dramatically lit settings. Strong emphasis on light and shadow or Film Noir lighting techniques to define the subjects. Favorite medium oil ...or watercolour for quick sketches. Favorite painters Andrew Wyeth, Norman Rockwell, Egon Schiele, Alphonse Mucha, Tamara De Lempicka, Guy Peelaert, lots of Neo Classical works ...and let's not forget Gil Elvgren! He now lives and paints in Constantine, Cornwall and exhibits annually in the local art route. Most of his work is commissioned.
