Betty Glanville (born: Dorritt Elizabeth Bent) was born in Kingston , Jamaica and is a past student of Knox College, Jamaica. She studied Art at The Glasgow School of Art, Scotland and graduated in 1966 with a Diploma in Design and Decorative Art/Jewellery and Siversmithing. She intended to pursue a career in jewellery but needed working capital.
