For Don and Bonnie Fink, making images has become a way of life. While their interests change over the years, from building a home in northern New Mexico in 2001, to full time Rving in 2007, to traveling to Europe in 2012, their passion has always remained firmly rooted in photography and capturing images of their experiences.
For Bonnie, the excitement of getting an image right when the shutter fires is her goal. Don is more analytical, preferring to “gather the information” and render his interpretation later. Both are interested in wildlife and landscape as their main subjects. Bonnie migrates more towards the wildlife and the excitement of capturing something in action while Don prefers to contemplate the landscape scene.
While living in New Mexico, Don and Bonnie displayed their images in a gallery in Taos, one of the great art centers of the American southwest. When they began traveling, most of their images went to stock photo agencies; a more “mobile” way of displaying and selling their art. They're excited to have found this venue because it opens up an avenue to display and share their photography while still maintaining their ability to be on the move.
Don and Bonnie Fink joined Fine Art America on January 13th, 2015.
