Carrie first began to appreciate the perspective of a photographer through her mother's Minolta camera, which was all manual settings and relied on film. These early experiences taught her to really consider composition and lighting for just the right shot. Now, with a Canon DSLR, Carrie can take many more photos without the cost of film as a factor, yet those early experiences continue to influence composition decisions.
