Chase Saunders is a fifth generation North Carolinian and native Charlottean. His talent for art came from his grandmother and father, both of whom were talented artists. As to subject matter, his ancestors came into the Carolinas in the 1700s and Chase has been using the medium of watercolor to capture the changing face of the Carolinas for over 50 years.
