Technical Pen Pixel Art

Inspired by the computer of my early days, the Commodore 64, I have started drawing a series of pixel art based on my photos. I prefer the vibrant look of just black and white pixels, and the optical illusion of depth they create when you view the pictures at a distance before you get close enough to see that the image is made from pixels; and even closer you see that the pictures are drawn with a 0.1mm technical pen, leaving no two pixels exactly the same shape or size, and adding a nice organic texture to the whole drawing. It is a time-consuming technique, but the results make it worth it.
