I'm 16 years old, and have grown up watching my grandfather capture amazing images for as long as I can remember. He gave me my first disposable camera at age 6, and my first 'real camera' at age 8. As my interest in photography grew, my grandparents began taking me on outings to shoot photographs across Oklahoma. In museums, small towns, and down dusty one lane roads, they showed me all the wonderful hidden treasures this state has to offer. Later we began to travel across the USA on summer vacations where I became interested in landscapes. I began to win awards in county fairs at a very young age, and have had the honor of my images appearing in Oklahoma Today magazine. I have also been awarded Gold and Silver Keys from the Scholastic Awards in 2013.
I'm fascinated by the effect of nature on man-made objects as they age over time. I like to capture details that allow these objects to tell their story of all the things they have witnessed. I look forward to traveling down many more dusty one lane roads with my grandparents and family in the future. I'm very appreciative of all the support from my parents, friends, teachers, and family who help encourage my interest to keep going with my work.
