Hi, my name is Jesse Alger. I have been painting landscapes for a little over a year now. I have learned that a blank canvas can take you wherever you want to go. Some days it’s to a summer mountain setting, others it’s a cold snowy scene. I love escaping to that place while I paint, and for a little while I am there, experiencing the fresh air, the sounds of rushing water, taking in the majestic views. As an artist, you want to share your work with others, you want others to experience your expression and creativity. I hope when you view my works that for a few moments they take you there, that you to would escape and place yourself in the scene. That it would stir feelings of peace, relaxation and tranquility in your soul. Even more so, I hope they encourage you to explore your own creativity and passions, you can do it if you put your mind to it, believe in yourself and put in the work to learn and progress. Maybe it’s not painting for you, maybe it’s writing or music, or woodworking. Whatever it is, dive in and invest in your passion and interests. You can do it and your investment will pay off.
