I'm an artist living in West Sussex, England. I worked as Head of Photography at the West Sussex County Times newspaper. I've been snapping away since 1985. Following redundancy after 30 years I turned to painting as a creative outlet. I use acrylic art not to recreate a realistic image, I could use my camera for that, but to express myself and my reactions to scenes or ideas. I prefer the 'broken' image, and something more in colour, tone or lighting than the real scene provides. It is all a creative journey.
