Born in 1983 in Hornsby, NSW, my mother’s family was originally from the Garawa and Mara Tribes of South-East Arnhem Land in the Nugkurr area of Roper River NT Australia. I completed Tafe courses in Aboriginal Cultural Site Conservation and a Diploma of Applied Aboriginal Studies which started my passion for my Indigenous Heritage, I then started painting and wood carving when I was 28.
