Scott Waters trained as a commercial artist and illustrator, first studying watercolor with Dr. Robert Banister in California and then Commercial Art and Illustration at Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota Florida where he was the president of the student council.
For a decade in Denver, Scott was involved in the high-end audio and recording studio business while continuing his design consultation.
In 1984 Scott was part of the sales team that introduced the Macintosh personal computer. At Apple he developed expertise in the technical, marketing and management areas of the computer industry to compliment his experience in the Arts.
After relocating to Hawai'i in 1987, Scott was Associate Account Manager for Claris Corporation, and helped bring new products to market in the US, and Australia. He was president of the Maui Apple Users Society, and ran MacHelp Maui providing professional support to creative professionals, artists, writers and small business clients.
After a painting sabbatical in Cornwall England, Scott relocated to St. Augustine Florida.
