Michelle Hogan is an equine artist from Ontario, Canada. She is a juried member of the American Academy of Equine Art and a Signature member of the former Institute of Equine Artists (disbanded). Her work is predominantly pen & ink, characterized by bold use of shadow and light. Her stipple technique is eye catching and unique. Michelle's work can be found in collections across Canada, the United States, and Europe. For many years, Michelle was involved in harness horse racing as a trainer, owner and breeder, and she continues to draw inspiration from the industry. Although no longer an active participant, Michelle strives to use her art to draw new interest and fans to the sport.
