That trip sparked not only a love affair with photography but a love affair with the wonderful landscape and heritage of Britain. Lake District

Like innumerable photographers before me, I have been drawn again and again to the natural beauty of the English Lake District. The Lakes get ridiculously crowded, getting around is slow and roads are clogged with holiday makers, and yet, and yet, the sheer magnificence of the Lakes keeps me going back, to seek out forgotten corners or classic views, and enjoying the amazing light.
