Born and raised in Newfoundland, Peter Harris has enjoyed a life-long interest in the visual arts. Much of his time is spent creating mixed media paintings, digital art and photographic works, influenced by his exposure to life and nature in Newfoundland and British Columbia. His early interests and studies in British Columbia were focused upon the arts, and Harris was fortunate to parlay his creative skills into a career with the City of Richmond's Public Art Gallery and Arts Centre, and later, with Richmond Museum and Heritage Services as Exhibit and Program Coordinator.
