Chris grew up on Mount Desert Island, Maine, and has been playing music and creating art for as long as he can remember. He received a BA in Visual Arts and Music from Bowdoin College, an MA in Ethnomusicology from University College Cork, and is currently working toward his MFA from Maine College of Art. As an artist, Chris is deeply inspired by the Maine coast and its people. Nearby Acadia National Park, with its mountains, lakes, and granite coastline, is a central focus in much of his artwork.
