Growing up in the mountains of North Carolina, I was surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery. I believe that this added to my love of nature. I remember being very young and sitting for hours looking out of my window in awe of God's creation. I would often draw the surrounding mountains and wildlife filling page after page in my notebooks and sketch pads.
