My art is an expression of living with a brain injury.When I was 21, I was in a car accident that left me with traumatic injuries; I technically died on the operating table and had experiences beyond my imaginings.After awakening from a coma that lasted 40 days I had to learn to do everything again ; how to walk, talk, eat-- everything. I ended up with a permanent, major tremor in my right arm and and unfortunately I was right handed.I've learned to create art with left hand as well as right hand despite the tremors.
