Adam Mirani was born in Waterloo, Canada, from a mixed Kurdish Canadian family. The history of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region has been woven into Adams life and he has always felt the pull of where his dad was from, where he and his family moved in 1998. Adam does creative photography in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region, spending much of his available time traveling around its vast and seemingly unexplored mountainous landscapes.
