Artist Statement
Addison White (°1971, Windsor, NS, Canada) makes photographs and media art. His works are often about contact with architecture and basic living elements in less obvious ways and sometimes developed in absurd ways. His works are characterized by the use of everyday objects in an atmosphere of middle-class mentality in which recognition plays an important role, but rather than presenting a factual reality, an illusion is fabricated to conjure the realms of our imagination.
