I was born in free town Sierra Leone, began painting with my uncle, who is the internationally acclaimed painter. 'Painting was, and continues to be to this day, a therapeutic activity for me, but also depict the inspiration stemming from quotidian social interactions. “In my art, I express the world of my neighborhood. When I walk outside my house, I see women selling things and children playing... These are the images, emotions and realities I capture in my works.'
