I was born to two Chicago Transit Authority bus drivers. As a child, whenever my parents had to work or couldn't find a babysitter, my parents would take me to work with them. This resulted in the CTA being a wonder world of imagination in my formative years and led to me studying about public transit systems throughout the world. As I grew older and thanks to several mentors and kindred spirits, I had a spiritual awakening.
