I am a self-taught digital artist who came to art after
being diagnosed with severe rheumatoid arthritis at the age of thirty-eight. I had worked in civil engineering for over 20 years and it was a big shock for me to adapt to having a disability that limited my mobility. Also,
slowing down brought to the forefront problems with severe mood swings, anxiety and depression.
I was diagnosed with a mental health disorder. It is safe to say, Art saved my life!
My art reflects how I see the world and, the more
I studied, I realised that art is indeed about
perception and how that transcends
into the artists' work.
