Im a Textile Designer by profession but have keen interest towards Digital painting and Photography. I look at everything and think about how I would change, and hopefully improve, the design. Sometimes the change might be slight but to my eye it would make all the difference in the world. I always show my work to my friends and family and take feedback from them and try to improve consistently.
My inspiration usually comes from a completely indirect reaction to something I’ve seen or heard, that will in turn influence me and my art somewhere along the creative process. One good place to reflect is when you're alone on a long journey listening to your favourite music, just thinking about stuff.
There are times when I have to really think about what I want to make and other times, I just go with the flow. I mean I will have a rough idea but for the most part when I go to design it, the end result is a bit different, as I like to experiment and change directions of the work through the design process.
