Eldon Reed Frye (1909-1990) was an artist who lived in Del Mar, California. He was a cartoonist, as well as a portrait and oil painter. He made what he called large 'multigiggle' cartoons suitable for framing, usually a central image surrounded by humorous writing. His subjects included golf, fishing, boating, sales, and family vacations. His work appeared in trade publications and reproductions were sold individually to collectors.
