Zdzislaw Beksinski (24 February 1929 - 21 February 2005). Born in 1929 in Sanok, Poland, Beksinski was a painter, photographer and sculptor, specializing in the field of dystopian surrealism. He spent most of his life creating surreal dystopian oil paintings and drawings with precise detail in what he called either a 'Baroque' or a 'Gothic' manner.
