Photographer Bob Pardue Creates Subdued Color Fine Art Photos At Key West FL

Lancaster, SC - March 13th, 2021

March 13, 2021 - Lancaster, SC Key West Florida: The summers are hot in the South Florida town of Key West but Jean and Bob Pardue braved the heat to get a look at one of the town's favorite attractions. "Key West Lighthouse and Keepers Quarters Museum is a fine art photographer's dream." says Pardue as he proudly shows a subdued color art print of the tip of the lighthouse peeking over the green palm trees. The lighthouse pictured here opened in 1848. But, the oddest characteristic? A woman was installed as its Keeper. This seldom happened during the 19th century. The Key West Lighthouse underwent a number of upgrades during the following years. Today, the museum represents a maritime heritage as part of Key West history. While visiting, Pardue, along with his wife (and traveling companion) Jean reflected about Bob's military service of years past where they lived abroad as newlyweds...

New Photography Piece - Picacho Peak State Park

I love traveling through the Southwestern USA. I just can't seem to get enough of the wide open spaces. While traveling I-40 W I happened upon Picacho Peak State Park and had to photograph it. The result is one of my favorite digital art prints. I will be listing more from my trips in the near future. Check out the photo.

Bob Pardue Salutes Educators

Lancaster, SC - August 23rd, 2014

No doubt parents of turbulent kids are excited to see schools back in session. But, what about the poor educators? It's a fact that teachers need encouragement, especially during this time of year when they don't know what to expect from new students entering their classrooms. This photo art image is meant to do just that. It reminds the teachers of what education is supposed to be about. The goal is to encourage and inspire those in the teaching profession to move onward and upward with a famous quote by Bill Beattie. Art photographer Bob Pardue says; "My hat's off to those brave enough to educate. Hug a teacher today!"
