BONNIE ROSS - WATERCOLORIST
Bonnie graduated from New England School of Art, Boston, MA.
Settling in rural Maine with her husband, they raised a family on a small farm, which became an inspiring environment to create her watercolor paintings. The transparency, luminosity and spontaneity that are characteristic of the medium allow Bonnie to create her landscape, florals and seascapes.
With the encouragement from her mentor Ruth Taylor, Bonnie began showing her artwork in 1992. Ever since she has exhibited in a variety of venues throughout New England.
She has also taught Adult Education classes and provided private lessons. Bonnie has found passing on her experience and knowledge while teaching has had its own special rewards.
