Hello! I am a watercolor artist who lives in Deltaville, VA.
I started painting in 2007 and haven't looked back since then. I love painting and it's my passion. I do realistic art but I love zentangle art because it allows me to paint without rules and regulations and I just create in the moment with zentangle work. I never know what I'm going to come up with. I started painting in 2007 with my cousin who introduced me to watercolors and painting has brought out the artist within me that I did not know existed. When I was a child, I didn't even like to color and took art in high school and was not impressed with that either. Now, painting is my passion and I'm loving it more than ever.
I also love photography. I love to take pictures and if you ask anyone in my family, I am the 'Photographer Queen'. They always rely on me to take pictures because I always have my camera. I like photography almost as much as I do painting.
I am married to a wonderful man, have two grown sons and one beautiful grandson. We have a house in Deltaville, Virginia where we have retired on the bay. Spending time in Deltaville and painting on my porch is like a day in heaven. I continue to learn each and every day and would like to share my artwork with you.
I have taken watercolor classes at our local library and continue to learn through educating myself through books and taking whatever classes become available. Wet Canvas is also a great source of learning that I have enjoyed being a member of. I continue to learn through various artists on arttutor.com which is an awesome website for artists
