I have known I was going to be an artist since the age of six. So after years of art classes, I graduated from Ringling College of Art with a BFA. I was going to be the most famous illustrator of our time.
I moved to Texas, got married, bought a house, became a mom and got a 'real' job teaching kids about art...at first I loved it. I had a wonderful principal who supported me and great kids to teach. After six years- I woke up one day and realized I wasn't happy. I wasn't doing what I was supposed to......
I live my dream every day of being an artist. After painting for other people for 25 years as an illustrator- I now paint for myself.
One day I will find a gallery to represent me and I will have successful shows. In the meantime- I will continue to create images that no one has ever seen before....... I am an artist.
