My first relationship with photography began when I was 9 years old and discovered my big sister's abandoned, beat up Brownie camera. I found a way to capture and record an instant frozen in time. At 16, I took a photography darkroom class and as I witnessed the image slowly forming in the developing tray for the first time, I was hooked for life.
