Charles received a BFA in Painting from Florida State University in 1986. After graduation, he moved to Atlanta, Georgia where he now participates in regular juried exhibitions at the Atlanta Artists Center. He studied figure painting with Marc Chatov in 1999 and 2000 and has won several Honorable Mentions. Charles' newer work explores the bridge between experimental landscape and collage/mixed media, and he was recently featured as an Emerging Artist in the December issue of Art Galleries and Artists of the South.more
