My passion for art started very early in life. I remember getting my first Jon Gnagy art set and from that point on I knew that my love for art would always be a major part of my life. I was born in White Castle, LA a very small town located on the Mississippi river in south Louisiana. I grew up in Baton Rouge and studied art under the guidance of a very influential teacher at Robert E. Lee high school. Her name was Camille Traweek and she was a huge inspiration to me. I attended several Youth Art Council of America camps and later majored in Fine Arts at Louisiana State University. I also attended the Drafting Institute at LSU and was certified in mechanical drafting. I am a member of the Denham Springs Fine Art Association and currently serving as President of the organization. My art is not limited to any particular medium. I love it all! I started out in oils and later painted with acrylics. I am currently painting with watercolors. My main gratification comes from taking my God given talent and sharing it with others. I hope you enjoy viewing my art as much as I enjoy creating it. - Chris Bajon Jones
