I'm the son of artists. Mom is a painter. Dad, a sculptor. Both met at the Art Institute of Chicago and married in 1960. They've instilled in me a deep love and hope for humanity and the experiences that unite us. These experiences can be every day things -- walks we take, getting coffee in the morning, the person we know and see every day, or the person we observe and feel their heart even for a moment, just long enough to say “hello”, or smile and perhaps lift up their day, and change their destiny.
