I am a storyteller.
The artists who inspire me -- Rembrandt, Rockwell, Caravaggio, Vermeer, Hopper, Mapplethorpe, Gorman, Roffman -- are all masters at capturing moments that convey a larger story. No matter the technique used, if a work of art can evoke an emotional response in the viewer, conjure a story or mood even more specific than the piece itself, then the artist has succeeded.
My art takes many forms. I've spent many years as an animator and director in the film and television industries in New York and Los Angeles, and in recent years I've devoted more time to painting and photography. For me nothing is more beautiful and unique than the human face and body, so portraiture and nudes are what I tend to focus on with my art.
Have a look! I hope you enjoy some of the stories I tell.
