'I am a macro photographer'. That is what I ended up noticing after downloading about a hundred photo's or so as a new photographer. I just seem to notice the minor things as I am out for a walk in nature. The tiny details seem to catch my eye so quickly that it just amuses me after a while and becomes the shot I want to take. I love the way the light plays up the moment as I focus my lens and it all comes into view as I press the shutter button. Then, there it is, right there on my screen, a moment frozen in time for me to enjoy and play with.
I love this! - I love this! - I love that I get to feel the photo coming about in front of me as I take it. I love that I get to see it for a few seconds after I took it. Just as occasionally, I find that I have taken an average photo of an everyday, or rather common occurrence, however something about it is intriguing as you look at it. I like that. I like that it feels familiar to the viewer, as if the moment could have been their very own, or that is just feels that way as they look at it as the viewer.
Either way, macro photo or average, everyday memory that becomes a favorite moment in time, I love taking these kinds of photos. I love that I get to reorganize them on the computer as I look them over again and tease out the details that speak to me at that moment as well. I really love, that you, the one who falls in love with it as well - gets to share this with me as it stays with you throughout your life, encouraging you, supporting you, calling you, inspiring you or even comforting you. It's art, living, breathing, interacting with you all day, every day. I get to be a part of that with you! I think that is so much fun to watch evolve and come to life! It inspires me to inspire you with my photo's of the most extraordinary ordinary things you see in your day to day experiences that bring it to the forefront that life is an incredible journey in some of the most amazingly minute moments that we all get to experience daily! What fun that is when we recognize it!! Thanks for stopping by.
