Clare Iacobelli was born in Italy and grew up in the United States. She received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Wayne State University, The University of Michigan, and Georgetown University. She taught at The George Washington University in Washington, DC, and later served as a financial executive and consultant for educational, entrepreneurial and artistic ventures.
