I was born in Portland, Maine and spent my childhood living up the hill from the Portland Head Lighthouse. I remember lying in my bed and hearing the fog horn warning to passing ships. My Dad was an engineer for the dairy industry and we moved several times when I was young: Manlius,NY, Bloomfield Hills, MI and Edina, MN. After high school I attended the University of Minnesota earning a degree in Interior Design.
