Connie earned an art major from Michigan State University.in 1974. She went to work for Benzie Schools and her students enjoyed the benefit of Connie's talent for more than 31 years. She helped establish the art program in Benzie elementary schools as the art instructor for all kindergarten through sixth grades. She then developed the seventh and eight grade art programs.
