Peoples Choice And 3rd Place For All Good Things Come From Above

Lincoln -- Lincoln neighborhood artist Conny Riley’s oil on canvas “All Good Things Come from Above” won the coveted People’s Choice Award at the Battle Ground Art Alliance 11th-annual spring show March 24-25. The show, which focuses entirely on Southwest Washington artists, featured 163 pieces including paintings, wood, leather, glass and quilts.

April 2nd, 2012 The Reflector Getting to know: Conny Riley Painting was not something that came to Conny Riley early in her life. Riley, 37, picked up a brush occasionally when she was younger to make gifts for friends and family, but the Vancouver resident didn’t really start in earnest until June 2010, when she discovered a local charity, Cathy Anna Mayer Encouraging Others (CAMEO), and offered to do a custom painting for one of their silent auctions.
