Before retiring in 2008, Connie practiced Civil Law and Matrimonial Mediation in New York. In 2007, she was certified as a Civil and County Court Mediator in Florida. Connie started painting as a teenager and majored in Art in College. She was an active member of several New York Art Leagues. Marriage and four children in a row interrupted painting, as did community activities, golf and Law School in 1987 - which was followed by practicing law with her husband Bill in his Long Island, New York law firm.
