Cori is originally from Magnolia, Arkansas. She actually grew up outside of town, nestled in a forested area, which served as her romping grounds as a child. She grew up close to extended family members as well as appreciating the beauty of trees and forests. She has always enjoyed being in nature and when she discovered the joy in painting, plein air painting (or painting outdoors), seemed a natural fit.
