I'm a reliable realist...a very practical and precise individual managing each day with conscientiousness and responsibility. Photography allows me to let go of this organized and productive existence by wandering through the unstructured beauty of nature and soaking in the serenity and spiritual renewal it provides. Photography has given me new perspective and purpose and is very personal to me, revealing as much from behind the lens as in front of it.
Through my recently published Petoskey stone look-and-find book, I hope to inspire young people to get out and explore nature and appreciate the beauty around them. The Petoskey and Me is filled with stunning, four-season photographs from the northern Michigan area, history of our beloved Petoskey stone, a fun search for the Petoskey stone hidden on each page, and a special message for kids to remember as they grow. Visit my images page for a preview of the book or go to www.PetoskeyandMe.com!
